| | IOFPCL have been signed an agreement with Chocolate Bernrain AG in Switzerland for exporting organic and fairtrade certified dried cocoa beans. in 2009
The officals from Chocolate Bernrain AG in Switzerland had visited IOFPCL and conducted training programme for farmers regarding the quality of of beans.
They had also conduted a training progarmme in April 2009 at Chocolate Bernrain AG in Switzerland for our share holder farmers and four members of IOFPCL attended the Training programme | | | Establishment of Common Processing Centre
Presently, the company has engaged in the procurement of wet cocoa beans from its member farmers from Adimali, kannur and palakkad region, the intervention of the company has resulted greater influence on the market.IOFPCL has its own facility for processing and drying of cocoa beans The facility for processing is situated at Kadalikkad near Thodupuzha and drying at Soranda in Tamil nadu. | | | Export
The company has already exported organic and fair trade vanilla and cocoa and coffee in the year 2008-2009and is continuing the procurement of organic cocoa and vanilla, cashew and coffee for exports. | | | Last year we procured and exported
